Bedtime routines are better with stories! Starting at birth, make reading to your child a daily activity. Dedicate 20 to 30 minutes every evening to reading to your child.
They can read on their own now, so keep their interest with new books from the library. Their mood will change daily, and that is okay! Try to keep reading to them - promise, they will love it!
Don't stop now! Keep that special reading time a regular part of your child's day. They will look forward to it! Pick books you want to read too. After your stories, give them time to look at books on their own!
