Looking to expand your reading list? Find your new fave among the fresh faces in this debut author panel. The authors on this panel will share the challenges and triumphs of getting their first book published – giving us a front-row seat on their writing journey. 

Moderated by Angie Rines, PR & Marketing Director, Easton Public Library Angela Rines is the Marketing and PR Manager at the Easton Area Public Library. Outside of her role at the library, she also reads and reviews books for her Instagram platform @angelareadsbooks. She has been active in the Bookstagram community since 2017 and loves celebrating authors and their books.                              

Carol Van Den Hende, Goodbye Orchid (Azure Press 10/20) Carol Van Den Hende is an award-winning author who pens stories of resilience and hope. Her novel "Goodbye, Orchid" won the 2020 American Fiction Award for urban fiction, 2020 Pinnacle Achievement Award for multicultural fiction, IAN Outstanding Fiction for Best New Novel, Best Book Finalist, Royal Dragonfly Award, Audiobook Reviewer Author of the Year. Timothy Janovsky, Never Been Kissed (Sourcebooks 5/22) Timothy Janovsky is a queer, multidisciplinary storyteller from New Jersey. He holds a Bachelor's degree from Muhlenberg College and a self-appointed certificate in rom-com studies (accreditation pending). When he's not daydreaming about young Hugh Grant, he's telling jokes, playing characters, and writing books. Never Been Kissed is his first novel and releases on May 3. You're a Mean One, Matthew Prince (Book 2 of Boy meets Boy) releases   October 4, 2022. 

Lisa Roe, Welcome to the Neighborhood (Sourcebooks 4/22) After graduating from the S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and spending many years as an advertising creative director and copywriter in New York City, Lisa Roe accepted the tougher job of stay-at-home mom and turned to writing fiction — mostly to entertain her kids, but then to tell her own stories. A classic firstborn, a reluctant empty nester, and a Dr. Doolittle wannabe, Lisa lives in New Jersey with her husband and three incorrigible dogs. WELCOME TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD is her debut novel.
