Award-winning author Lesa Cline-Ransome in conversation with EPSD Library Director, Molly Magro.
Lesa Cline-Ransome, the author of the Coretta Scott King Honor picture book Before She Was Harriet, has crafted a lyrical debut novel about one boy's experiences during the Great Migration.
This virtual event is free and open to the public. Registration is required due to limited session capacity.

Lesa Cline-Ransome is the author of almost twenty books for young readers. Molly Magro, MLS (she/her/hers): An Emmaus, PA native, has been the Library Media Specialist at Eyer Middle School in the East Penn School District since 2011. Molly is the Library Department Chair and the faculty advisor for Eyer's student Gay-Straight Alliance and the Emmaus high school's chapter of S.O.A.R. (Students Organizing Against Racism.) Molly is passionate about sharing books that open hearts and minds, helping students find their voices, disrupting bias and racism, and making positive changes in her community.
